Second Engineer
Your responsibilities:
- To maintain a safe engineering watch;
- To operate main and auxiliary machinery and associated control system;
- To assist the First Engineer;
- To supervise bunkering operations;
- To follow orders of the Chief Engineer when on duty, or to be in command of the Vent Closing Team in case of an emergency;
- To know the MS and the technical documentation which is relevant to this function;
- To maintain and repair the equipment according to instructions of the Chief Engineer.
Your profile:
- A maritime education of nautical institution;
- Certificate of Competency Second Engineer All Ships, or Maroff All Ships, with direction engineering (STCW95);
- Valid Seaman's Book;
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate;
- Valid Passport;
- Valid Basic North Sea Training Certificate (preferably);
- Offshore experience.
