Second Mate
Your responsibilities:
- Observe the health, safety, quality and environmental system (including local registration and contractual requirements;
- See to it that others observe the health, safety, quality and environmental system;
- Supervise the use of personal safety equipment by the project staff, subcontractors, etc.;
- To carry out duties according to STCW;
- To assist the 1st Officer;
- To operate the D.P. System;
- To follow orders of the Master as a member of the Bridge Team during an emergency;
- To know the HSE Management System and the technical documentation which is relevant to his function;
- To update the navigation charts and books.
Your profile:
- A maritime education of nautical institution;
- Certificate of Competency Second Mate All Ships, or Maroff All Ships, with direction navigation (STCW95);
- Valid Seaman's Book;
- Valid Medical Fitness Certificate;
- Valid Passport;
- Valid Basic North Sea Training Certificate (preferably);
- Offshore experience.
