Statoil / Sleipner Vest - Alfa Nord

The Sleipner Vest - Alfa Nord is a gas field located in blocks 15/6 and 15/9, West of Egersund in Norway and close to the median line between the Norwegian and British sector, 240 kilometres from Stavanger. Statoil is operator for the Sleipner field and is developing the Alfa Nord project on behalf of the participants of production license PL 046.

The field development includes a 16” pipeline to the Sleipner ‘T’ platform and an Integrated Service Umbilical, which runs from Sleipner ‘A’ to the template.

Tideway’s scope of work consisted of post lay high accuracy rockdumping on the 16” pipeline, the umbilical and high accuracy dumping around the protection structures.
